Carpalo is designed to help families coordinate school-community rides. This page is a plain-language product notice, not legal advice.

Information we may process

Account information, school-community information, ride details, family relationships, support messages, and—when a parent explicitly starts a live trip—precise device location.

Location

Live location should only be shared during an active trip with people authorized for that trip. Production location storage and access controls must be enforced by the backend before launch.

Children

Carpalo is intended for parents and guardians coordinating transportation. Parents should only enter information they are authorized to provide about their children.

Payments

Carpalo Plus checkout is handled through Stripe. Carpalo should not store full payment-card numbers.

Data controls

Production accounts must provide authenticated access, deletion/export workflows, and appropriate retention limits before public launch.
